Why I Am Running |
|
|
Like many Prince Georgians, I was taught that having a strong educational background would allow me to better serve my community and my family. Therefore, my loving parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many more made back bending sacrifices for me "to read the best books and to go to the best schools, no matter the cost" as they would say.

Now that I have the honor of being a mother raising a daughter in Prince George's County, I understand the instinct to sacrifice for someone else's better tomorrow.
I submit myself as a candidate for Prince George's County State's Attorney because I believe it is time for my generational peers and myself to commit to service and to live the change we seek. We are equipped to lead and need not sit by idle when so many made sacrifices to put us in position to contribute to our communities. |

Because I believe safer schools and safer neighborhoods are the foundation for stronger families and are the catalyst to grow job opportunities in our County, I seek the office of State's Attorney.
