Honoring Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
The Department of Family Services’ Project HIRE program has been hosting an online training series during the month of March in honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. These sessions are free and open to anyone interested in learning more. There are still three courses left in March:
March 25: Charting a Life Course Plan March 30: Child and Family Support Resources March 31: Assistive Technology in the Workplace
Project HIRE is an apprenticeship program that provides individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities between the ages of 18 and 25 a meaningful paid job training experience with a Prince George’s County Government agency.
