I’m Supporting Ingrid Harrison for County Council District 4
I am proud to announce my endorsement of Ingrid Harrison for Prince George’s County Council District 4. I believe that Ingrid has the perfect balance of experience, commitment, and passion to be an effective member of our County Council. Ingrid has been a resident of Prince George’s County for over 27 years and currently serves as an At-Large Councilmember for the City of Bowie. In that role, she initiated the establishment of The Bowie Youth Council which strives to give youth a voice. She also worked with businesses and Councilmember Todd Turner’s office to provide food donations to seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ingrid serves as an elected member of the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee and Government Affairs Manager for Children’s National Hospital, and through her various roles has built solid and strong relationships with federal, state and local officials and brought back results for Prince Georgians. She also worked as part of the team to help launch Employ Prince George’s, and has assisted in the creation of workforce programs and training for County residents.
What I know is that Ingrid’s most important goal is to help the people that she serves. She feels strongly about being there for our residents and will continue to listen, lead with integrity and forge a path based on their needs. Her work in the County continues to set a high standard of excellence, and I believe she is the best person to lead the residents of District 4 on our County Council.
